What Type of Homes We Build

We want the new homes we build to help create balanced, sustainable communities. We do this by building a range of house types and by offering a range of tenures that are suitable for a different households. We build homes for rent, homes for shared ownership (part-rent, part-buy) and homes for sale. We build houses, flats, some bungalows, housing for older people, and temporary accommodation for homeless households.

The type and tenure of homes we provide on any individual site is determined by local housing need – which we determine by discussing requirements with the local council.

The new homes that we build are of a very high quality. This helps us to ensure that:

They last well, providing many years service for residents
They are pleasant places to live
They reflect local design and characteristics
We maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Future maintenance and repair costs are manageable
