The Site (description of site background, reason for development)
In 2005/06 North Hertfordshire Homes purchased 10 properties on the open market in Wheathampstead. The properties were then improved to a good standard and let to people on the St Albans Housing Register.
The scheme, which was jointly funded with St Albans City and District Council, was successfully completed in September 2006. The Council have now asked NHH to purchase a further 10 properties for renovation and letting.

The properties purchased are within walking distance of local shops, community centre and facilities.
Local Authority nominations
All properties have been let to people nominated by St Albans City and District Council.
