Adaptations

Please see our policy for full details of adaptations that are available for your property. These include items such as stair handrails, ramps, to low level baths and level access showers.

To be eligible for any adaptations you must be assessed by an Occupational Therapist and you will need to contact Adult Care Services (part of Social Services) on 01438 737400 to arrange for assessment.

Once you have been assessed, a referral is then made to NHH and your request is put on our waiting list. How long you will have to wait depends on the urgency and nature of the work required, but demand for the service is very high.
