- First for North Hertfordshire Homes in Biggleswade -

North Hertfordshire Homes have successfully completed their first development of new properties in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
A total of eight new homes for social rent including three, two bedroom flats, four, two bedroom houses and one, one bedroom flat are available in additional to six, two bedroom houses in Church Street that will be available to rent and then buy under the Rent to HomeBuy scheme.
The new homes, which were built by contractors Crestel, have been constructed to a very high standard, meeting the Sustainable Homes Code level three, with additional installation and a whole house ventilation system. This will ensure that each home is evenly heated and will help to maintain low running costs.
“We are delighted to be able to work with Central Bedfordshire Council again in providing much needed housing for local people. This development represents real quality of which we are very proud” says Kevin Thompson Chief executive of NHH.
Following this success work will be starting shortly on a second major new development in Biggleswade.
