Community Support Services
The Community Support Service is a housing related service for anyone over 55 years of age who has a support need or a physical disability, living in North Hertfordshire.
Community Support Officers make a weekly home visit and can help with:
- Completing forms – such as Housing Benefit, Attendance Allowances
- Arranging transport to and from hospital
- Liaison with other agencies on your behalf
- Help in an emergency with shopping, arranging meals and collecting prescriptions and pensions
- A response to an emergency call between the hours of 9 am and 5 p.m. on weekdays
