Tenant Services Authority

The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) is the new regulator for affordable housing, taking over the regulatory powers of the Housing Corporation. Their goal, quite simply, is to raise the standard of services for tenants.

Homes and Communities Agency

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is the new national agency leading the delivery of homes and regeneration in England. It inherited the investment functions of the Housing Corporation as well as the responsibilities, skills, expertise and resources of English Partnerships and a number of delivery activities of Communities and Local Government (CLG).

National Housing Federation

The National Housing Federation is the body that represents the independent social housing sector. Around 1400 not for profit housing organisations are currently members, who between them own or manage around 1.8 million homes

Communities and Local Government

North Herts Minority Ethnic Forum (NHMEF)

The NHMEF is a partnership of local black and minority ethnic (BME) communities. These include Italian, African-Caribbean, Polish, Greek, Chinese and various Asian groups. Their aim is to help these communities overcome problems that prevent them from playing a full part in the social, economic and environmental life of North Hertfordshire.

Commission for Racial Equality

The Commission for Racial Equality is a publicly funded, non-governmental body set up under the Race Relations Act 1976 to tackle racial discrimination and promote racial equality.

The group was established in May 2001 and is made up of officers from Local Authorities and Housing Associations, working together with tenants.

Mediation Hertfordshire
